At the NorthPoint Foundation, we believe that doing right for our community means rolling up our sleeves and showing up for youth in our community. 40+ NorthPoint volunteers did just that, by coming together to support the wonderful students at Kansas City International Academy (KCIA) for their annual Field Day.

Where the Fun Met the Field

Field Day is always a highly anticipated highlight for both NorthPoint and KCIA, and our team was absolutely thrilled to help make this year’s event unforgettable. Our volunteers had an absolute blast setting up and running a variety of interactive stations, keeping the energy high and inspiring plenty of friendly competition.

From dodgeball matches and friendly limbo contests to cooling down with outdoor water games and jumping in the giant bouncy house, there was never a dull moment. Of course, the absolute crowd-favorite of the day was the dunk tank, where students lined up for a chance to splash our volunteers. Seeing the happiness on the children's faces as they successfully hit the target was the ultimate reward. This hands-on day of play perfectly reflects the NorthPoint Foundation’s core mission: to enhance the lives of children and their families through hands-on service projects and impactful giving.

A Wonderful Sense of Community

Our partnership with KCIA is one we deeply cherish. Every time we work with KCIA, we are reminded of why community engagement is so vital. The students bring an infectious, positive energy that inspires our entire team, and we always have an absolute blast interacting and playing games with them.

Thank you to our volunteers for bringing their energy and heart to Field Day, and to KCIA for inviting us to be a part of their annual tradition. We look forward to many more times filled with laughter, games, and impactful collaboration!
