From blueprint to finished community, 27 high school students spent the day learning what it takes to bring a project to life.
Hosted by NorthPoint’s Multi-Family Team, the immersive career exploration experience introduced students to the many stages of real estate development — from early design concepts and construction to property operations and management. Through presentations, site tours, and hands-on learning, participants gained an inside look at how ideas move from paper to places where people live, work, and connect.
Students heard directly from architects, engineers, project managers, and marketing professionals who shared their career paths and the skills that drive success in the industry. They also had the opportunity to walk an active construction site and see firsthand how planning and teamwork transform blueprints into thriving communities.
Programs like this reflect our commitment to empowering the next generation through exposure, education, and experience. By connecting students with real-world professionals and projects, we hope to spark curiosity and inspire future careers in design, construction, and development.
