The holiday season is a time for generosity, joy, and connection, but for many families, economic hardship can make this season especially challenging. Thanks to the compassion of our team members and donors, NorthPoint was able to help bring warmth, smiles, and holiday cheer to families and children who needed it most.

Sharing Cocoa, Smiles, and Celebration with Mother’s Refuge

Our Leasing team embraced the spirit of the season by hosting a festive holiday gathering with Mother’s Refuge, creating a warm and welcoming experience centered on connection and care. The team set up a cheerful hot cocoa bar and served nearly 80 people, including 50 mothers and their children and families.

In addition to the cocoa and conversation, each mother received a thoughtfully prepared gift bag filled with personal care items and fun surprises. The celebration was filled with laughter, holiday activities, and a special visit from Santa, delighting children as they soaked in the magic of the season.

“It was fun serving the families and seeing Santa and all the children getting excited for the activities,” shared one team member. Moments like these remind us that volunteering doesn’t just meet needs, it creates memories.

Creating Christmas Morning Magic with the Police Athletic League KCK

The Police Athletic League KCK continued their cherished tradition by hosting their annual Christmas party, welcoming 53 families to share a meal and celebrate together. The event was more than a party—it was a promise that every child would experience the joy of opening gifts on Christmas morning.

The Foundation supported this effort by assisting with gift purchases during a shopping day held earlier in the season. Seeing those gifts placed into the hands of families during the celebration was a powerful reminder of how generosity, planning, and partnership come together to create meaningful impact.

Delivering Hope to Children in North Philadelphia

Many Philadelphia school children face difficult realities due to ongoing economic challenges. For families already struggling, the joy and warmth of the season can feel out of reach.

Thanks to the generous support of our Foundation partners, children attending Head Start in North Philadelphia received toys and winter coats. These essential gifts provided both comfort and joy, meeting immediate needs while restoring a sense of holiday hope.

Together, these initiatives show how a season of giving can create lasting impact. From joyful celebrations and thoughtful gifts to essential support for families in need, our teams and partners brought hope, warmth, and connection to communities across the country. We are grateful for the dedication, generosity, and heart of everyone who made this holiday season meaningful—and we look forward to continuing to serve and support families throughout the year.
