NorthPoint team members across multiple offices recently partnered with Roc Solid Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting families facing pediatric cancer. Through hands-on volunteer experiences, teams came together to provide comfort, joy, and tangible support to families navigating some of their most challenging moments.

Packing Hope Through Roc Solid Ready Bags
The St. Louis NorthPoint team began their volunteer experience with a Ready Bag Packing Party. Ready Bags are thoughtfully assembled care packages given to families at the moment of a child’s cancer diagnosis—often one of the most overwhelming days they will face.
Before packing began, volunteers had the opportunity to hear directly from a Roc Solid Mama or Papa Bear—a parent who has personally navigated the pediatric cancer journey. Hearing these firsthand experiences brought deeper meaning to the work, reinforcing that each Ready Bag represents a real family and a real moment of need.
Volunteers then packed essential items and included one of the most meaningful elements of all: a handwritten note. These messages of encouragement are read by families during an incredibly vulnerable time, offering reassurance, care, and support when it’s needed most.
Building Joy Beyond the Bags
Service efforts continued beyond Ready Bags. The St. Louis team also helped build a backyard playset for a local family, creating a space for play, movement, and joy—an important reminder that childhood continues even in the midst of treatment and uncertainty.
In another collaboration, NorthPoint and WarehouseQuote teams partnered with Youth Volunteer Corps (YVC) teens to build four Roc Solid playhouses. These playhouses are a signature part of Roc Solid’s mission, designed to bring imagination, normalcy, and joy back into the lives of children battling cancer. NorthPoint volunteers also delivered the playhouses directly to families, allowing them to see the immediate impact of their efforts and share in moments of celebration and connection.
More Than a Project
From packing Ready Bags to building playsets and delivering playhouses, these volunteer experiences highlighted the power of showing up for others. By working alongside Roc Solid Foundation, NorthPoint teams were able to provide meaningful support, create moments of joy, and stand alongside families during incredibly difficult seasons.
