NorthPoint team members partnered with Bags of Hope to support students and families facing food insecurity in the community. Together, volunteers packed and delivered 125 winter break bags for students at KIPP Academy and KIPP CHANGE, helping ensure children had access to nourishment and support while school was out.

Bags of Hope is a local nonprofit committed to combating food insecurity for children in the Lake Norman and greater Charlotte area. The organization provides free weekend food provisions to school-aged children who might otherwise go without—offering not just meals, but encouragement and hope to families navigating difficult circumstances.

What We Did

During the packing event, team members came together with one shared goal: to help make winter break a little brighter for kids who need it most. With care and enthusiasm, volunteers assembled 125 bags filled with nutritious food and essential items. It was inspiring to see everyone working together—from sorting and packing supplies to organizing the bags for delivery.

Once the bags were ready, the team delivered them directly to KIPP partners, ensuring the support reached students and families who rely on these resources during school breaks.
